Patricia R. Frisch, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist, orgonomic bio-psychotherapist, family therapist, and group leader. She has been a practicing orgonomic therapist in the San Francisco Bay area for over 25 years and is expert in the application of character analytic techniques in group therapy. Her specialty is character analytic bodywork - the interface between physical illness, stress related symptomatology, psychological conflict, psychogenic illness and somatic disorders.

Patricia is a warm, receptive, dynamic person with extensive experience working with clients to actively confront anxiety related disorders.
Her clinical treatment focus is stress related diseases, disorders and symptomatology; the
somatization of conflicts into physical symptoms. She has specialized in Non-Touch Energy work including Surgical Assistance at Marin General and California Pacific Medical Center.
Patricia Frisch is director of Counseling and Training Consultants, which provided communications training for inmates and
staff in California State Prisons.
Dr. Frisch, Ph.D. has trained and supervised graduate students and professionals from California universities
in Psychodynamic character-analysis, somatic modalities, group therapy, couple therapy, and stress reduction through emotional
and physical release. She will be supervising interns at Community Institute for Psychotherapy in San Rafael, 415 459-5999.
Richard A. Blasband is a board-certified psychiatrist, trained in medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and in psychiatry at Yale Medical School, where he served on the faculty of the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Blasband studied medical orgonomy with Dr. Elsworth Baker, who was appointed by Wilhelm Reich to train physicians in his therapeutic discipline, psychiatric orgone therapy. With others of Dr. Baker's students Dr. Blasband assisted Dr. Baker in the creation of the American College of Orgonomy, which he served as President and Editor of the Journal of Orgonomy as well as conducting research in orgone biophysics. He has published over 60 original articles and reviews in the Journal and other medical publications.

Dr. Blasband is currently the Research Director of the Center for Functional Research in Sausalito, CA devoted to experimental and theoretical research on healing and the interface between life energy and consciousness. He is in the private practice of psychiatric orgone therapy, with over 35 years of experience in the field.
From time to time, the Institute may invite other experienced professionals to present content that will enhance the overall experience of our trainings.
